  • St Johnsbury, VT shows a neighborhood about 12 units per acre (about the density of Maurice’s).  This is an old neighborhood, but in a rural setting.  

  • Columbus, NJ 12 units per acre - mostly single story

  • Other rural developments have lower density:  Ashland, MA has a medium density development in a rural town, 7.3 units per acre.
